For over six decades, the cherished Dickens Village has brought the timeless tale of A Christmas Carol to life in [object Object]
Miniature houses adorned with fireplaces, stockings, and antique toys recreate scenes from the classic story, offering unique discoveries in each.
This enchanting setting invites visitors to partake in seasonal traditions, shopping, and community festivities.
Opening Day: Saturday, December 6, 2025 | 1–4 PM
At 1 PM, Santa arrives, heralding an afternoon filled with holiday music.
Families can enjoy a petting zoo and horse-drawn carriage rides throughout the village.
The day culminates with a tree lighting ceremony at 4:30 PM, featuring remarks from the [object Object]
A seasonal menorah will also be displayed in honor of Hanukkah.

The festivities continue on Saturdays, December 13 and 20, from 1–4 PM.
These afternoons feature visits with Santa, horse-drawn wagon rides, a petting zoo, and a 2 PM holiday concert at the Burgdorff Center for the Performing Arts.
Breakfast with Santa at St. James’s Gate
Adding to the holiday cheer, families are invited to Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 13 at 9 AM at St. James’s Gate (167 Maplewood Ave).
Guests are encouraged to bring their holiday spirit and dress in their festive best for this cozy Maplewood Village tradition.
Tickets are available for presale at St. James’s Gate.

Dickens Village offers a delightful outing for all ages and an excellent opportunity to explore Maplewood Village's charming and unique shops.
Visitors are encouraged to enjoy a warm drink or a festive bite at one of the many local eateries.
This free, family-friendly event is a much-anticipated celebration of Maplewood's historic charm and the magic of the holiday season.

Dickens Village is co-chaired by Ellen Davenport, Kathryn Porter, and Veronica McLeavey-Fisher, whose commitment brings this seasonal treasure to life each year.
