The Maplewood Police Department is excited to announce the return of its Junior Police Academy this summer, offering local youth a unique opportunity to engage with law enforcement and develop essential skills.
Designed for young residents, the Junior Police Academy provides a week-long immersive experience into the daily operations of a police department. Participants will engage in activities such as drill and ceremony, physical training, teamwork building, K-9 demonstrations, and motor vehicle stop simulations. These sessions aim to instill discipline, compassion, and teamwork, reflecting the core values upheld by our officers.
