The Maplewood Strollers are bringing Noël Coward’s beloved comedy Private Lives to the stage at the Burgdorff Theater from March 12 to March 22, nestled at 10 Durand Road in Maplewood, NJ.
This celebrated play explores the unpredictable sparks that fly when a formerly married couple reunites by chance while honeymooning with new spouses in adjacent rooms.

The South Orange and Maplewood communities unite tonight to celebrate exceptional local women at the annual Unsung Sheroes event.
Hosted at the Orange Lawn Tennis Club from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, this Women's History Month tradition highlights women making meaningful impacts across advocacy, arts, business, education, and youth leadership.

The Maplewood Memorial Library at 51 Baker Street has reopened as a 32,000-square-foot, all-electric public space—now 33% larger and more welcoming than ever.
Boasting New Jersey’s first LEED Gold certification for a public library, it sets a new local standard in sustainability and inclusivity.
The $24 million project was powered by state, municipal, and community funding, with the Maplewood Library Foundation raising over $2 million from supportive donors.
A restored 1955 entrance and a new accessible ramp reconnect the library to Maplewood Memorial Park, originally designed by the Olmsted firm, inviting everyone inside.
The airy, light-filled building features book-inspired design touches, vibrant reading spaces, and enhanced views of the park.
Key amenities include a spacious Teen Room, Children’s Room, and a flexible Community Room for up to 200 guests, alongside creative spaces and ten Quiet Study Rooms.
